I appreciate that the Premier wants to fund mental health services. However, why is he refusing to expand our healthcare system to include dental and vision services? Ontarians deserve a system that works for them.
Thank you to all my supporters and the hardworking volunteers who made this election campaign possible. The NDP will continue to hold this government to account and fight for dentalcare, green investments, affordable housing and more! #TrustInOntario
We can have a bright future for Ontario with the detailed NDP plan. A strong vision will lead our province into prosperity for future generations. #TrustInOntario
Just finished casting my ballot in Northeast Toronto Suburbs. Make sure to vote before the polls close and let your voice be heard. A robust democracy requires high engagement and turnout from all sides.
Debate is over! Thank you to all the leaders for an invigorating discussion. Put out the case for dental, OFI, rural investments, housing, and more. #TrustInOntario
Fact: green and battery technology is expanding in popularity at an increasing rate.
Fact: Ontario has the potential to become a leader in green and battery tech with our technically-skilled workforce and mineral deposits.
If Ontario doesn't step up, the Congo and China will.
Was in Northern Ontario and Ottawa earlier today, talking about our plans for the battery economy, infrastructure spending, expanding dental&vision care, and more investments in the people. Stay tuned!
Best choice? With your nuclear plan it would take 26 years to refurbish the Bruce reactor, nevermind meaningfully expanding green power. Not to mention your uncosted platform.
The NDP plan invests in infrastructure and research, which are crucial to develop the battery economy!
@a_lafCMHoC Ah, it seems that Mr. Lafontaine has come back to only personally attack the Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario. I'm not sure how Mr. Steeves 'ruined' this country, but we are the best choice for Ontario.
To the request of many, I am BACK! Sooooo many changes since I left (and the job I did was such a tremendous one, look at the reviews). @AlbertChanCMHOC is the BEST choice for Human Rights, the Economy, and the ENVIRONMENT! Vote for NDP!!!!
"Ontario is capable of great things, but only if we work together."
Part of my closing statement from tonight's debate. We must reject divisive narratives and #TrustInOntario for a better tomorrow.
Just finished the #OntarioSim GE2 debate. Made the case for dentalcare, the OFI, education, and more. We can do great things, just #TrustInOntario. Thank you to my fellow leaders for the lively discussion and all my friends for their support.
Next one is on Friday, stay tuned!
There's nothing "revolutionary" about investing in infrastructure, dental care, the mining industry, and education.
This election shouldn't be about divide-and-conquer tactics. The ONDP has put forward its plan, because we know Ontarians are capable of greatness.
Minerals from northern Ontario power Toronto's technology, farmers from central Ontario put food in Toronto's grocery stores, manufacturing across the province builds Toronto's consumer goods. Ontario will always be stronger united. #TrustInOntario
It's time Torontonians say NO to throwing 11 billion dollars down the drain. Let's invest in our public services, and build healthy communities instead.
The ONDP has committed to education funding, ending the repair backlog, funding libraries, expanding transit, protecting tenants, and ending hallway healthcare.
The choice shouldn't be to destroy the province, it should be to support an ambitious plan. #TrustInOntario
This government HAS NOT:
-Ended $560 million in education cuts
-Reduced the school repair backlog
-Properly funded our libraries
-Properly subsidized our transit
-Ended the cuts to rent control
-Ended hallway healthcare
This government has ignored the GTA. It's time to pack up.
The ONDP has always stood for working with minority communities, including Franco-Ontarians. We are more than willing to bolster services and culture.
Now is no time to divide Ontario. Investments in infrastructure, mining, and health care will help all, esp. Franco-Ontarians.
