David wasn’t perfect, yet God called him a man after His own heart.

Why?

Not because he never sinned, but because his heart was devoted to God. He desired to do God’s will, and when he failed, he humbled himself, repented sincerely, and kept returning to the Lord.

You cannot be bitter about other people’s success and expect God to bless you.

Learn to genuinely celebrate others. Rejoice when they win, encourage them, and thank God for what He is doing in their lives.

A heart that celebrates others is far better positioned to receive its own testimony.

One of my favorite statements ever spoken by Jesus is this:

“I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in Me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?” John 11:25–26

In these words, Jesus wasn’t just promising life after death, He was declaring that He Himself is the source of eternal life. The question He asked Martha still echoes today:

“Do you believe this?”
