@theCMH94 @DAGauteng It's based on getting a 90% income rate from residents. The city isn't even at 85% yet.

This means the city is planning on spending more money than it practically receives from rates and taxes.

@IvynSambo @henriettefroh So happy to tell you this but you won't be voting for any ActionSA SRC at UP because they don't exist for 2026.

In order to run for SRC as a political party you need to be a registered society at UP, which ASA is not.

Better luck in 2027
