1/ why this even matters?

before if you wanted your contract to think or predict something you had to:

- run a backend server
- write offchain logic
- connect it all manually through bridges or frontend hacks

now? you just add a ready-made plugin (called an avr) to your contract
and it starts working - text generation, price prediction, analytics whatever you need
