TanStack Start + TanStack Query with optimistic updates are actually mind blowing. With this stack you can build really fast and snappy SSR'd streaming apps on the web. Awesome stuff. Never tried anything like it.

Text truncation in CSS is just a steaming pile of garbage with a bunch of weird workarounds and supposed fixes with potential side-effects to make it work. Not great.

use `min-w-0` on flex children when you want truncation to work

without it, your text just overflows the bubble
