There has been repetitive calls to place diverse knowledge systems at the core of climate actions. The value of indigenous knowledge systems has been highlighted, particularly in the Sixth Assessment Report (AR6) of IPCC.
We conclude by outlining some practical recommendations for fostering indigenous knowledge-based adaptation, including addressing barriers to mainstreaming of indigenous knowledge into #climate#research and #policy.
