@brihard@wbridgefa@atila3958@Osinttechnical It's a mission kill for sure. And the chance of a vessel of this size burning down from such a attack is pretty big. See the attack on that much bigger corvette at Kronstadt, which was hit by similar drones.
@RifleInfantry I was looking at the pic and thought: Well, how many people fall to their deaths on these bridges each year? And than, I noticed the crack, and it made click my brain that these bridges are glassed. I really love your attention to detail. Top notch visual storytelling.
@aubiefairfax@NOELreports Older F-16's like this cost 7000 to 8000 USD per flight hour. And a single APKWS II costs between 30 and 40K USD. And those are older Sidewinders they got for free, from Germany, for example. And a single Shaded of cruise missile can cause millions of USD in damage.
@CypressDahlia I urban combat, gears protect tanks from other gears, and on an open field, the tanks give the gears the covering fire they need to succeed.
@CypressDahlia Thats why I like Heavy Gear so much. The gears (smaller mechs) and the striders (bigger gears) are important weapons, but gears will lose to tanks on an open battlefield. But in urban areas and areas with lots of cover, gears and striders dominate.
@Dawidaltexian@VKatovsky@John_A_Ridge Russia has a bunch of different MAWS (IR, UV and radar-based) available, but they don't have any installed on their fighter jets?
@tscooney98@CalibreObscura The Su-30 almost certainly has either a IR, UV or radar-based missile approach warner. Because they have models of all three types available.
