"The Government of Uganda has mandated URSB to establish and maintain a central repository of information relating to all non-individual entities registered, incorporated or carrying on business in Uganda. This places URSB at the center of efforts to enhance transparency, coordination and access to reliable information" Mr. Komakech Salim, Resident City Commissioner, Jinja
Today, I chaired the final Cabinet meeting of the outgoing government and later hosted members to a luncheon in appreciation of their dedicated service to our country. This is the Cabinet that ushered Uganda into middle-income status, and I thank everyone who contributed to this achievement, including the Cabinet Secretariat for effectively managing the business of cabinet.
I thank them all and wish them good luck.

Fellow Ugandans, especially the Bazzukulu, following a scientific assessment by our CBRN team, I have written to Matongo Wood Works Company confirming that traditional wooden food containers made from omunyama (mahogany) and omusisa (albizia) are safe and durable. I have directed support for this initiative so that we free ourselves from the colonial habit of relying on fragile and unsafe ebyatika (the breakables).
Our indigenous knowledge systems served our people well for generations. It is time to consciously revive and promote them as part of building a self-reliant and modern Ugandan economy.
Earlier today we joined the Minister for Works @HonEchweru during monitoring of projects namely the Tororo Busia road, Nyangole bridge and Rubongi bridge.
We requested the minister to fast track the tarmacking of the roads on Rubongi & Nyangole bridges

This is what Rotary is all about for me. By bringing together the private sector, government, and the community, we make a lasting difference that none of us could achieve on our own.
Namananga is an important ecological corridor that connects Mabira Forest to Musamya Swamp. It helps protect the water streams that support families, farms, and wildlife.
