1) 5 anni fa lanciammo un sito dedicato ai libri, https://t.co/hUxXHL55mz Speravamo di raggiungere 400mila utenti mese. Invece abbiamo superato 1,4 milioni.

Con gratitudine verso i nostri lettori, durante il lockdown abbiamo lavorato a una nuova versione del sito.

Era esattamente quello che pensavo nei giorni scorsi, leggendo interviste a virologi che dicono #COVIDー19 sta diventando meno aggressivo.

Però mi chiedo, se ci arrivo io, che non sono uno specialista, come è possibile che non ci arrivino certi "esperti"? 🤔

@youyanggu 2) For any country, looking at the difference between average deaths from Jan to April for the last decade, and 2020 deaths for the same period, we can have a better picture.

My doubt is on countries who cheat on purpose, and where you do not have reliable national statistics.

@youyanggu 1) Agree, looking at the excess death is a good way to better understand the real numbers for #COVID19.
In Italy, where I am based, the Government is not cheating on purpose, but they were not able to count all deaths in nursing homes or for very elder people living alone.
