The Knicks belong to New York City. And this championship belongs to the people who waited 53 years for it.
That’s why we’re giving away 600 free tickets to Thursday’s Championship Ceremony at City Hall following the ticker-tape parade.
The public lottery is open now and will close tomorrow, June 17, at 11 AM. Details at https://t.co/KsaTwaNNAh.
🗞️ Voice AI Weekly Update!
This week was packed with updates on the models and platforms front. The biggest announcement was probably @nvidia Nemotron 3.5 ASR. With very low latency, multilingual support, and a completely open-source, fine-tunable architecture, you can host it on your own infrastructure—making it one of the best options out there for Voice Agents. 😍
On the TTS models side, we saw releases from @HappyRobot (an unexpected one!), @Microsoft's MAI-Voice-2 featuring zero-shot voice cloning, Miso One from @MisoLabsAI boasting human-level emotional prosody, and @xiaohongshu's dots.tts, which introduces a new continuous architecture.
A more exotic highlight is the Magenta 2 RealTime model released by @Google, featuring open-weights real-time music generation using text, audio, and MIDI. 🎶
📚 In the Reading section, you'll find a highly useful article from @covaldev detailing the current state of TTS alongside a 2026 comparison of TTS providers, plus a detailed deep-dive into the challenges of barge-in.
Kudos to the @livekit team for being the most active last week! They launched a new release of their Agents framework, shipped their C++ SDK 1.0.0 for robotics and embedded systems, and published a great article on how to implement persistent memory with MongoDB that explains several different patterns. 👏
Have a great week! (Full update in the link below 👇)
Mira Murati says frontier AI should be built like a tandem bike:
"Having humans in the loop doesn't quite describe it because it sounds like a checkpoint where we're signing off something, and then you're good to go."
"It's more like creating systems that are not just autonomously advancing and leaving civilization behind, but are more like a tandem bike."
"When you're going up a hill, maybe whoever is stronger is pedaling harder. But both hands are on the wheel. That's quite important because that's a different system. It's a system designed for collaboration."
"It will increase the level of agency that people have, and also it will help us steer the research direction towards creating outputs that are more value-aligned."

"I just felt a calm and a peace that had to be come from the woman above (his mom). I felt like a kid. It was just fun out here. It felt like I was a kid getting ready to go play my Saturday AAU games and Sunday AAU games. In a way I felt like I was seeing her in the stands"
