My inconsequential pet peeve of the day is when people leave the "beg" part out of "It's easier to ask for forgiveness than beg for permission."

It's way easier to ask for permission if you're reasonably sure you're going to get it. Plenty of situations where the only reason anyone's put out is because you didn't ask.
It's only when begging enters the equation that "just do it and deal with the consequences" takes over

They should add a neutral button to steam reviews but it just counts toward not recommended reviews for the stats but you can filter by them if you want to see the least helpful reviews on the store

"Neutral" means not recommended. You're not going to tell a friend "You should play this game. It's mediocre." Just put fucking not recommended and stop crying.
