Emma Navarro shares that she’s been struggling with a condition called RED-S (Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport) as well as Hashimoto’s hypothyroidism.
In her full IG post, she opens up about the struggles she’s faced for 3 years.
“So yeah. I gained some weight this year. But I also gained my life back. I have enough energy to seize every day, to train or compete as hard as I want to, and to live a life outside of tennis. To laugh, to be curious, to be spontaneous, to spend time with the people I care about, to feel joy, hope and positivity, and to appreciate the incredible gift of life. And I have learned that there is no weight on the scale or leanness in your limbs that is more valuable than your health or your well-being.
All that being said, I am taking the rest of this year to work on dialing in my medication and fueling protocols so that I can hopefully feel back to 100% again. I will not be competing in Asia this year, but I plan to be back on the road starting in Australia 2027.”
You never know what someone’s going through… big respect to her for navigating all of this with strength and with the right priorities. Health and happiness always come first.
Keep going, Emma. ❤️
Dear Microsoft, I can assure you I never want to save to OneDrive. I don’t have OneDrive, nor do I plan to. If I’m saving a document as a PDF, assume I want it in the same folder as the original. NOT OneDrive. Which, I remind you, I don’t even have.
I do not want to save to OneDrive. I want to save it to the Documents folder on my computer. The actual Documents folder on my computer, sitting right here in my house.

Ultimately, the NCAA continues to shoot itself in the foot. We've been talking about 5-in-5 for two years now.
If they had voted on it before the end of the season and grandfathered in the graduating seniors, we could have avoided all this.
