There are probably 1-3 thoughts you think that are responsible for 80% of the negative emotionality you feel daily
Figure out what they are
And simply choose to not think them

I once read that Navy Seals, through their training, became both more capable of enduring pain AND more sensitive to it.
The same appears to be true of becoming better at feeling your emotions: both more capacity AND more intense.
One unusual thing I noticed about Copenhagen: their bike bridges are stunning.
Apparently, most of the public infrastructure isn't designed by engineers alone, but by architects and world-famous artists too.
Some bridges intentionally curve instead of taking the shortest possible route. The curves slow cyclists down, make the ride safer, and give riders better views over the water.
And they discovered something else too: building beautiful bike infrastructure can actually create cyclists.
When Bryggebroen opened in 2006, planners expected around 3,300 cyclists a day. Within months, more than 9,000 were crossing it.
my #1 advice to all of you is to be useful...
being useful is the answer to getting paid, building an audience & forming solid relationships
never stop being useful
"charlie kirk" was probably a mistranslation causing a few historical figures to be merged into one mythological individual. texts from this era are sparse but "charlie kirk" likely never actually existed
Supp sellers when they realized they could repurpose the whey waste from cheese-making that was traditionally fed to pigs, market it as “protein powder,” and have consumers gleefully paying a 30x markup
@alpharivelino > What you do = who you are
>There is no “you” apart from what you do with your life
And you have EVIDENCE of this already, in how you feel.
-- Do nothing: feel low and heavy
-- Get something done: feel powerful, proud, alive
It's how you feel and how other see you.
The average person does not try to solve their problems or struggles. They get stuck in a routine and live the same day over and over. It does not cross their minds to snap out of it, engage in strategic thinking, and change direction so they can eventually reach a more advantageous position in life.
If you want to get ahead of 90% of people, all you have to do is pause, think, and actually attempt to overcome the struggle you're faced with.
Beginners are overconfident because the extent of the unknown looks very small.
As they learn, their "unknown box" expands faster than their skill, and that is a crushing feeling. You have to grit through it.
It's almost impossible to explain this; they have to live it.
