@elrufai is prepared to stand for trial to defend all allegations of the regime against him and isn’t in any way lobbying the FG to pity him or set him free

@elrufai never committed treason or murder, he was arrested over allegations of misappropriation of public funds and wire tapping

These are bailable offenses, but the regime in connivance with some elements in the judiciary have decided to make his bail conditions extremely difficult to fulfill

So what exactly are you insinuating, lobby the FG to get him free?

Please read that @elrufai post again, but this time very very slowly, he isn’t lamenting or seeking the sympathy of anyone and the last paragraph sums up everything in that post

There is currently no trial going on, they are just shuffling him from one court to the other in the hands of very hostile judges that are apparently being tele guided by unseen hands, adjourning the trial multiple times just to humiliate him and break him

In conclusion, I find these excerpt of your post troubling and a clear sign that you are deliberately sounding like you are ignorance of the constitutional rights of @elrufai and the fact that we are supposedly in a democracy and not a monarchy or dictatorship like most Gulf States

Fast forward to 2015, when El-Rufai assumed office as the Governor of Kaduna State, he once again remembered you and made you his Special Adviser on Political Matters. It was yet another demonstration of his trust, mentorship, and consistent support for you.

By 2019, El-Rufai cleared the path for you to run and win as Senator representing Kaduna Central. And in 2023, he singlehandedly chose you, stood firmly behind you, and fought tooth and nail until you emerged as the Governor of Kaduna State.

On May 26, 2023, you publicly declared with your own mouth that: “El-Rufai is part and parcel of everything I have achieved in my life.” This was not just a passing remark but a powerful acknowledgement of the man who held your hand through every stage of your political journey.

History also records that you had contested for several political positions in the past but failed to win any — until El-Rufai came into the picture and changed your story.

The question then is: during all those years of struggle and failure, where were these newly adopted political mentors of yours? Where were they when you needed guidance, when you needed a platform, and when you needed rescue from political obscurity?

The truth is undeniable: if you remove El-Rufai from the life and career of Uba Sani, what would remain is nothing but an empty political career — a loud noise with no substance, a shell without content. That is the plain reality no one can honestly dispute.

Press Release: Statement by the El-Rufai Family. The family of Mallam Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai, the former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), former Governor of Kaduna State and Opposition Leader of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has noted with serious concern the allegations made by General Christopher Musa (Rtd.), Minister of Defence, on 3 September 2026 during a live television broadcast of Politics Today on Channels Television. During the programme, General Musa alleged that Mallam Nasir El-Rufai actively planned killings in Southern Kaduna while serving as Governor of Kaduna State.

This grave allegation was made without the presentation of any evidence in support of the claim. While General Musa (Rtd.) is entitled to hold and express his personal opinions, the El-Rufai family is equally entitled to demand that such serious allegations be substantiated with credible evidence.

In the absence of such evidence, we call on him to publicly retract the allegation through the same medium on which it was made. Accordingly, General Musa (Rtd.) is hereby given seven (7) days from the date of this statement to either provide evidence in support of his allegation or issue a full public retraction and apology.

Failure to do so will leave the family with no option but to pursue all appropriate legal remedies available under the law in response to these unsubstantiated allegations.

If you don't know who Mallam is, shut your mouth.

If not for the unfortunate elevation of Tinubu, who and what would have given Femi Fani Kayode the opportunity, platform and temerity to talk about El-Rufai?

I pity those Southern Kaduna folks who might think FFK loves them.
