It's been lovely to hang out at the
@SiteGround
stall at #WCEU23 and talk to these folks. Another pair of socks from my favourite hosting peeps with the best support team joined my collection :)

A small selection of the images taken by our Illustrators Aleks and Lucy, when they photographed hundreds of exquisite artefacts for the #StaffordshireHoard artefact catalogue. These items are absolutely, mind-blowingly, beautiful... (1/3) #AngloSaxon#Archaeology#FridayFind

@elliottrichmond@duncanmacgregor Someone in Poland calculated that with the rate they announced they will vaccinate people it will take 6 years to do the whole population! May be quicker in the UK, but who knows...
@elliottrichmond@duncanmacgregor anyway, by the time it's available for 'normal' people the virus may be totally different so we may have to wait for years...
@elliottrichmond@duncanmacgregor ..and the reactogenicity subset consisted of 8183 persons.' What happened to the remaining 13k + recipients of the vaccine? Why weren't they evaluated? I think this should be explained.
@elliottrichmond@duncanmacgregor Re side effects a couple of severe allergic reactions, facial paralysis during the study, these just I remember from top of my head. I think it's reasonable to be careful when a completely new technology is involved. I'm mainly taking about the RNA one, not the 'standard' ones
@elliottrichmond@duncanmacgregor Scaring people to make them take the vaccine is in my opinion very morally wrong! Especially when there are already many side effects of it reported and many unknowns (research results haven't been published!), people should be able to make an informed decision not fear based!
@elliottrichmond It's an early Christmas present from Boris ;) I like the fact that the mutation was discovered sometime in September, but only revealed before Christmas, coincidence
