Today I want to raise a very urgent topic for the development of the Cosmos @cosmos ecosystem. There’s a large and active Russian-speaking community that, surprisingly, often goes unnoticed or unacknowledged. It feels like there's a sort of ignorance or silence around the fact that the crypto space includes a massive number of Russian-speaking users — founders, developers, NFT creators, marketers, influencers, bloggers, stakers, validators, builders, and a vast army of users and community members. Let’s take a closer look at how many of them are involved in Cosmos.

First of all, I’d like to highlight that the first team to notice and start building bridges with the Russian-speaking community was @madscientists_x . Special thanks to @Rekt_Zerker, @_TrendyTech, and @rektcudo for their openness, for listening and paying attention, and for leading the charge in engaging with the Russian community. Today, more than 500+ people are active in Mad Scientists alone.

It’s an offline mining project that distributes $BTC and altcoins monthly to NFT holders.

Have you ever seen the largest community in Cosmos actually represented or highlighted anywhere? Even just mentioned? I haven’t.

And yet, there is no other community in Cosmos that is larger or more active than the Russian-speaking one. I’m a part of it too.

Not engaging with people who are already here - who are building communities, creating products, and are deeply involved in the ecosystem - is a huge missed opportunity for any project or network. Let’s do something about it. Cosmos has already lost too many people. Let’s not lose more.
