It can and will be improved but I don’t want to go back. As for breaks, if it wasn’t to let FOX make half billion extra, we would have been OK at this WC.

Not to mention the mayhem of 15 to 18 with balls flying all over the heads of players and caddies.

@LouStagner My only eagle (hole-in-ones aside) was at Evian’s 18: driver 3W to the little hill behind the green left. Pin all the way to the right. LW high bounce at green entrance and roll to the hole. Now THAT was very satisfactory (not that I could do it again if I tried 100 times!)

I never thought it was a fabulous course, but I agree that environment and money make up for it. It did not help the reputation to have a now half-retired player being viscerally against it .
