I test INVALSI e OCSE-PISA lo dicono da anni: il vero problema di parte del sistema scolastico al Sud non è l’intelligenza dei singoli, ma il deficit nella comprensione del testo e nell'analisi logica.
Molti imparano a leggere, ma non a distinguere un fatto storico da una bufala, cadendo vittime di narrazioni semplificate e complotti da social.
Basterebbe aprire i libri di storia o di letteratura: nel 1861 in Sicilia non esisteva un solo chilometro di ferrovia, le strade rotabili erano quasi inesistenti e l’analfabetismo sfiorava il 90%. L’unica “ricchezza” si reggeva sullo sfruttamento disumano dei carusi, bambini venduti e trattati come schiavi nelle zolfatare, come raccontato dalle inchieste di Franchetti e Sonnino e dalle pagine di Pirandello in “Ciàula scopre la luna”. Un’economia bloccata dal latifondo feudale.
Ed eccola qui, la rappresentazione plastica di questo divario.
La titolare di quel post è la perfetta incarnazione della vecchia baronia meridionale: una persona laureata che dovrebbe rappresentare la classe dirigente e guida del proprio territorio, ma che anziché elevarlo sceglie di sfruttare l’analfabetismo funzionale del suo popolo vendendogli favole vittimistiche. La prova che si può prendere un titolo universitario senza aver mai imparato la competenza più importante: leggere un testo, capirlo e verificare se ha senso prima di scriverlo.

From elementary school through high school, I was taught that qisas, retributive killing, is service to society.
According to Sharia Laws, Singing was forbidden. Dancing was forbidden. But chanting "Death to this one, death to that one"? That was the curriculum. We were taught the logic of execution. We were taken to watch them.

That girl with the cleaver didn't radicalize in a vacuum. She was educated.

Marziyeh era stata costretta a sposarsi a 17 anni.
La Repubblica islamica in #Iran l'ha impiccata per aver reagito contro il suo aggressore.
Marziyeh aveva 18 anni quando un socio di suo marito tentò di violentarla a casa sua, davanti al marito. Lei ha afferrato un coltello da cucina per difendersi. Suo marito è morto durante la colluttazione.
Ha raccontato al tribunale di essere stata aggredita ripetutamente dai soci di suo marito prima di quel giorno.
Il regime ha respinto la sua tesi di legittima difesa. Il suo aggressore, sopravvissuto, ha testimoniato e l'ha definita un'assassina.
La sentenza è stata eseguita nella prigione di Chubindar a Qazvin.
Marziyeh Neyri era stata costretta a sposarsi da bambina in base alle leggi islamiche dell'Iran, ha trascorso i pochi anni della sua vita adulta in un'aula di tribunale, lottando per la vita dopo averla difesa.
Queste sono le leggi della Sharia che vigono nella Repubblica Islamica dell'Iran, dove una donna può essere impiccata per essere sopravvissuta ad uno stupro.

They murdered a medical professional, unlocked her phone using her finger, called her husband, and then began raping her corpse while he watched on a video call.

This is the Islamic Republic.

This is the story of Saleheh Akbari. And the world must know her name.

Saleheh was an operating room technician from Ardabil, Iran. During the January 2026 protests, she and her husband, Ahmad Khodaei, secretly helped protesters who had been wounded by regime forces and were too afraid to go to hospitals, fearing arrest.

They opened their home to the wounded. Saleheh treated them, bandaged their injuries, and helped remove pellets from their bodies.

The regime found out.

Security forces came to their home to arrest Ahmad. They attacked him, beating him with fists, kicks, and electric shocks.

Saleheh tried to protect her husband.

One of the regime’s men pulled out a gun and shot her in the heart.

Saleheh was killed inside her own home.

But even her death was not enough for them.

Her body was taken, along with her phone. Ahmad was arrested and abused.

Then came the part that is almost impossible to comprehend.

According to Ahmad’s testimony, members of the Revolutionary Guards went to Saleheh’s body in the morgue, gang-raped her corpse, and recorded the rape.

They then sent the images to her husband.

Read that again.

They murdered his wife.
They raped her corpse.
They filmed it.
Then they sent it to him to psychologically torture him.

Ahmad broke down. He posted a farewell message to his wife and attempted to take his own life. He survived after being taken to the hospital.

Saleheh Akbari was not armed.
She was not a terrorist.
She was a medical professional trying to save wounded people.

And for that, she was murdered.

Even after her death, the men of the Islamic Republic did not stop abusing her.

This is the Islamic Republic.

This is the root of evil in our world.

You know what that choice looked like?

They told us; Cover yourself head to toe and go to heaven. Or don't cover and be hanged by your hair and burned in hell for eternity. They taught me this as a little girl.

I use to call it a choice the way a prisoner chooses to stay in a cell because they told her the outside will kill her. Like a hostage who chooses to defend her captor because survival rewired her brain.

เพชชีอัมมาล แต่งงานกับสามี ศิวะ ตอนตัวเธออายุ 20 แต่แต่งงานกันได้ 15 วัน สามีหัวใจวายเสียชีวิต และเธอยังพบว่าตัวเองท้อง สมัยนั้นผู้หญิงอินเดียที่เป็นแม่หม้าย มีชีวิตที่ยากลำบากมาก ตามหมู่บ้านห่างไกลในอินเดียจะเพ่งเล็งแม่เลี้ยงเดี่ยว มองว่ามีมลทินแล้ว มีพิธีนึงที่เรียกว่า ‘พิธีสตี’ เป็นพิธีให้ผู้หญิงที่เป็นแม่หม้าย โดดเข้ากองไฟตายตามผัว เป็นพิธีบูชายัญผู้หญิง คำว่า สตี ความหมายคือ ภรรยาผู้ภักดี ผู้หญิงพอผัวตายจะโดนสังคมกดดันให้ตายตาม แม้ว่าจะมีกฎหมายแบนพิธีกรรมนี้ แต่กฎหมู่ของสังคมตามหมู่บ้านห่างไกลก็ยังทำกันอยู่

ด้วยความที่เป็นแม่หม้ายแถมมีลูกสาว เพชชีอัมมาล เลยพยายามหาเลี้ยงลูกเอง ในสังคมที่เหยียดแม่หม้าย ไม่ให้โอกาส กีดกัน จ้องจับผิด จนเธอไปได้งานทำในโรงงานถ่านหินซึ่งเป็นงานที่ไม่มีใครอยากทำกัน โรงงานพอรู้ว่าเธอมีลูกเป็นแม่หม้ายก็คุกคามสารพัด โดนเลือกปฏิบัติ วันนึงตอนเธอเดินไปทำงานกะดึก มีคนขับรถบรรทุกขับรถผ่านมา จะฉุดเธอไปข่มขืน แต่โชคดีเธอหนีเอาชีวิตรอดมาได้

เช้าวันต่อมา เพชชีอัมมาลไปวัดเป็นครั้งสุดท้ายในฐานะผู้หญิง พอออกมาจากวัดเพชชีอัมมาลก็ตายจากไปแล้ว เธอเกิดใหม่เป็น ‘มุตตู’ ผู้ชายที่ใส่เสื้อเชิ้ตและโธตี (ผ้าเตี่ยวผู้ชายอินเดียใส่เป็นกางเกง) จากนั้นก็พาลูกสาวย้ายบ้าน เปลี่ยนงาน เปลี่ยนตัวตนใหม่ ไปทำงานเป็นเชฟร้านอาหาร รับจ้างทาสี ขยัน ทำอาหารอร่อย จนมีผู้หญิงมาแอบชอบหลายคน มองว่าเธอเป็นสุภาพบุรุษ แต่เพราะมุตตูเป็นเพียงเสื้อเกราะของเพชชีอัมมาล เธอเลยไม่ได้มีความสัมพันธ์กับผู้หญิงคนไหน มีผู้หญิงหลายคนมาขอสักชื่อพวกเธอลงบนแขนมุตตู แต่มุตตูอ้างว่า มีคู่หมั้นรออยู่แล้ว ทั้งที่จริงเธอไม่ได้ชอบผู้หญิง

“สำหรับฉัน ฉันสวมใส่มุตตูเพื่อป้องกันตัว ครั้งนึงฉันขึ้นรถประจำทางตอนกลางคืน มีผู้ชายอยู่หลายคน ฉันเอาบุหรี่ขึ้นมาสูบ ขอไม้ขีดจากผู้ชายข้างๆ ไม่มีอะไรเกิดขึ้น ถ้าสมมติฉันใส่ส่าหรีเป็นผู้หญิง เหตุการณ์มันคงแตกต่างจากนี้” มุตตูเป็นผู้ชายในสายตาคนอื่น แม้แต่ลูกสาวยังไม่รู้จนอายุ 7 ขวบ คนจะเรียกมุตตูว่า มาสเตอร์ เป็นการให้เกียรติ เนื่องจากมุตตูเป็นเหมือนบุคคลตัวอย่างในชุมชน

ความท้าทายอย่างหนึ่งของมุตตูคือประจำเดือน เธอต้องระวังตัวตลอด กินยาเพื่อให้ทำงานต่อได้ดูปกติ เธอหมดประจำเดือนเร็วตอนอายุประมาณ 40 ปี เมื่อมองย้อนกลับไปเธอบอกว่า ในเมื่อตัดสินใจเลือกเป็นมุตตูแล้ว ก็รู้สึกว่าต้องยอมรับทุกอย่างที่ตามมาให้ได้ เพราะทางเลือกอื่นอาจลำบากและเลวร้ายกว่านี้

เสื้อผ้าผู้ชายให้ความรู้สึกปลอดภัยในแบบที่เธอไม่เคยสัมผัสในฐานะผู้หญิง มุตตูกลายเป็นสิ่งที่ทำให้เธอรอดชีวิตมาได้ เลี้ยงลูกสาวจนโต ส่งตัวลูกสาวเข้าพิธีแต่งงาน จ่ายค่าสินสอดให้ลูก ดูแลเงินทอง กิจการ ทั้งหมดนี้ถ้าทำในฐานะแม่เลี้ยงเดี่ยวแทบเป็นไปไม่ได้ พิธีแต่งงานของฮินดู มีพิธีกันยาดาน ส่งตัวเจ้าสาวให้เจ้าบ่าว ถ้าเป็นแม่เลี้ยงเดี่ยวส่งตัวลูกสาว สังคมมองว่าอัปมงคล เพราะเป็นแม่หม้าย เป็นสัญลักษณ์ความโชคร้าย แต่กลับกันถ้าเป็นพ่อ สังคมกลับมองว่าสมเกียรติ เป็นผู้นำครอบครัว

ศนมุกะซุนดารี ลูกสาวของมุตตู เปิดร้านของชำอยู่ในหมู่บ้าน เล่าว่า แม่ทำงานหนักมาทั้งชีวิตเพื่อหาเลี้ยงเธอ โดยไม่เคยขออะไรตอบแทน มุตตูออกมาเผยตัวตนเพราะเธอต้องยื่นเอกสารรับเงินบำนาญคนชรา แต่ตอนนี้เอกสารทุกอย่างลงชื่อว่า มุตตู เธอคือผู้ชายแล้ว มุตตูบอกว่า ถ้ารัฐอยากให้เธอเป็นผู้หญิงก็ต้องมารับรองความปลอดภัยให้เธอ พอนักข่าวถามว่า ไม่คิดถึงการเป็นผู้หญิงเหรอ? มุตตูก็ตอบว่า

“ฉันเป็นแม่เลี้ยงเดี่ยวและอยากอยู่แบบนี้ แต่สังคมรับประกันความปลอดภัยอะไรให้ฉันและลูกได้บ้าง ความปลอดภัยของฉันอยู่ที่ไหน ฉันเป็นหญิงหม้าย สมมติมีคนข่มขืนฉัน สังคมจะตัดสินอย่างยุติธรรมโดยไม่ทำลายฉันมั้ย แต่ช่างมันเถอะ ฉันมีความสุขแล้วที่ได้เป็นผู้ชาย” ผู้หญิงอินเดียคนนี้มีชีวิตรอดมาตลอด 37 ปี เพราะเลือกทางเดินใหม่ที่ไม่ยอมถูกกำหนดโดยสังคมให้ตัวเอง

มุตตูตกลงปลงใจแล้วว่า ถึงตายไปแล้วก็จะใส่ให้ลูกสาวใส่ชุดผู้ชายให้ ชาตินี้จะไม่ใส่ส่าหรีอีกแล้ว
