@CaptnGuardiola Seems to me what killed the 4-4-1-1 era was the lack of defensive work from the shadow striker spot. Now a new generation of shadow strikers are able to handle increased defensive demand so coaches are experimenting with a 2 strikers front again

@FalseTenn Kounde had top end aerial duel winning numbers as a CB in Sevilla. I don’t think they’ll struggle with long ball out of the back but maybe set pieces will be an issue. In terms of playing top PnP ST, that combo will have to use their reading of the game ala Cubarsi vs Osimhen
