that's the beauty of boring SaaS - find repetitive "niche" tasks, make them easier, unlock seo, profit
kinda beautiful isn't it?
Insane stat from the Wall Street Journal that there are like 12 million full-time influencers in the US right now. That’s 7% of the American workforce
No way a bubble like that is at all sustainable
@virginmedia Hi, this has been fixed since Saturday after 5 days of no service.
No proactive communication after 5 days of broken service is something I would expect in a third world country from a third world company.
Congratulations, you work for a third world organisation. Good luck! :)
@virginmedia Hi there, I'm in the London N4 area and have not had broadband since Monday morning (10am)
The status page keeps saying an arbitrary time in the future, which then updates again.
Are you able to give me an actual estimate for when this may get fixed please?
Stop telling yourself you'll do something, then not follow through
You are destroying your self-belief and confidence each time
If you say you're going to do something, get it done
If you struggle with this - start with simpler tasks
The promises you make to yourself matter
@virginmedia UPDATE: The status page now says the fix will take place on October 19 at 10.10am.
4 days, 12 hours and counting without broadband
No communication from Virgin Media.
Next update after the 10.10am estimate.
@virginmedia@virginmedia No broadband for 4 days, 11 hours, 30 minutes
No communication from Virgin Media. None.
This afternoon, the status page said estimated fix is at 9.10pm.
Now it says 10.10pm. This has been happening for the past 5 days.
Next update at: 10.10PM
@virginmedia The service status has changed to the next day for the past 5 days. I don't think it's unreasonable for me to be asking you, after 5 days of having no service when the issue would be fixed.
Thank you for referring me back to the status page. I'll be sending you updates.
@virginmedia Are you able to give me any actual information about when this might be fixed?
Genuinely, this is considered bad service even in 3rd world countries.
@virginmedia@virginmedia Also, could you please summarise the compensation that I'm owed, given broadband has now been down on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, and the outage is still ongoing?
