Honestly, sometimes I do enjoy seeing a top humiliate himself in front of a bottom, but only when there’s actually a reason for it, and especially when the story is told from the bottom’s perspective. But when I’m reading everything from the top’s perspective and seeing him constantly humiliate himself, apologize, and cry, it’s starting to become emotionally exhausting for me too. 😭

I attached the pictures showing how, from chapter 30 through the current chapter 39, Mokyeon keeps apologizing and crying over and over again. On one hand, I understand that he has valid reasons to feel this way and to apologize. But I honestly didn’t expect it to last for this long. You could say that, as readers, we’ve already spent around 90 days waiting, and if we count from November 25, 2025, when all of this started, until September 12, 2026, it has already been 291 days. So I really hope that chapter 40 will finally start resolving this situation and that we’ll get some kind of development without all the constant apologies. 😭 I’m willing to keep the tears, but please, at least let the main character stop suffering so much, especially when we still haven’t seen his feelings fully reciprocated.

I hope I didn’t offend anyone with what I said. I genuinely love the way the story is developing, and I understand why DanRim is showing us this part of their relationship. It’s just getting more and more painful for me to watch Mokyeon go through all of this with every new chapter. 🥲
