@OptimumHelp I realize that internet service providers do not compete. Are the outages in 11216 part of a strategy to get customers to switch to Fios this summer? Is it part of a give and take, optimum trades customers for something from Fios. Is that it?

@OptimumHelp But I just called 15 minutes ago and there are outages. So which is it? This has gone on for weeks. You call and they say there’s an outage, on Twitter there is no outage, or vice versa

@OptimumHelp These outages are so long in duration and have no explanation. Also, it doesn’t appear that any crews are working anywhere near the area. Are they intentional outages?

@OptimumHelp hey look, this is day 3 of an internet outage, in 2022. This is a predominantly black neighborhood. Could this lack of accountability ever happen in a white neighborhood? I’m white, I just think it’s an honest question. Maybe optimum just really is that bad and eeoc

@Malcxlm2 @OptimumHelp @verizonfios Dude, one rep on phone Tuesday told me it was my modem. I went and bought a new one. Then next rep told me about outage. I work from home, I’m using my phones hotspot. Yeah I will switch to Fios quick. 2 days without internet, and still no good news either.
