This assertion is simply not true, convienance can be risky and “naturally” most babies are supposed to die (look at the archeological record of pre-modernity for evidence).

Consider that in the American context the Dixiecrats were socially conservative but fiscally liberal and despite this, calling the Dixiecrats anything other the conservative is kinda silly.
