Busy night last night. Unexpected 35kts, so 2 reefs and 1/2 Genoa, still doing over 7kts upwind. All ok onboard :-)

A few ships around and El Hierro 40 miles away. Wind eased to 18 but still upwind. ETA Las Palmas tomorrow morning

Still slogging upwind. 330 miles to Las Palmas for fuel. All good onboard, just need a few hours respite from the slamming.

Beating in to 25kt trade winds is not much fun. Lots of slamming and water over the deck. One way to enjoy Bank Holiday

2 weeks done and 530 miles to go. Regards sea state, we have 18kts wind and about 2m waves. Some slamming but generally ok.

660 miles W of Canaries. Watching the fuel carefully. Pushing Upwind in 15kts hoping for a lift.

Breeze kicked in and we are broad reaching at over 10kts. Expecting wind to keep increasing today then start to ease down again.All ok
