@FreddyLA7 Hopwfully some footy being played at Mitchell Field and Fuller Park.
It was great. All the international students would meet on the public pitches for pickup games. You'd also see cricket and rugby there.
And don't miss Zingerman's Deli!
@FreddyLA7 Hope you got to play football (soccer) at Mitchell Field/Fuller Park.
Ann Arbor has an almost European feel to it but still very American in some ways.
When Real Madrid was in town CR7 wasn't supposed to play, but he saw 109k and knew he had to come on, so he was a surprise sub
@Talhaa10_@N037NY We need a twitter thread where Euro fans try to trash Metlife and American fans trash Tottenham Hotspur Stadium only for everyone to realize that everyone hates both of them and just dogpile them together.
"You think YOUR stadium is crap? Well ours is a bigger piece of crap!"
@CarterByrd13 Ths guy reminds me of Korean Pistons Fan Tom Hur.
Dude fell in love with the Pistons and started visiting Detroit and getting all into the culture and food and having a blast. Positivity attracts positivity.
@MidAtlantean@parkinscroat What? You think the people outside meeting random people and making new friends and socializing with season ticket holders is the sad lonely existence?
@irishelt@hoosier_captain TBF it really depends. College kids? Yeah you're getting cheap swill. But then the next car over might be a guy offering you homebrewed ale.
@danielwales023@THE_REAL_CH3@Gengarsmind The bands are students of the university, who are music majors, who are trying to contribute to the atmosphere by playing 100 year old school anthems for the fans.
Why is that so bad?
@SebPHawkins@hoosier_captain "Oh no, people of a community are sharing food and drinks with one another and even offering it to visiting fans. How dare they!!!!"
@Tomcastlehume@thenovanglus@Carly_Lyes Imagine being so miserable that the idea of people of a community coming together to share food and beer and offer it to visitors bothers you.
