@Hellharbour What? Australia’s rates are still lower than most countries that are cutting - nicely illustrating that the RBA will be slow to lower because they were slow to lift in the first place and never went very high (compared to other similar nations) anyway.
@DonaldTNews Yeah right. Lot of folks said that last time, but didn’t go anywhere. But if they wanna live here in Australia for a while they’d be most welcome.
@MehreenFaruqi Always so bitter. Shorten fought for and pioneered the NDIS. That’s quite a legacy you should try to match. And the system is growing gangbusters each year, if you’d care to look. Nevertheless, do have a nice day.
@JamesMConlan Ohkay… But nutty ideas like this nicely illustrate the inanity of housing policy in our great nation: bemoan high rents then chase out ppl who rent homes which then reduces rental supply which forces up rents. Ugh.
@BillFox2@nat_forrest It’s in the US. I recall the plan was that we would have access to US strategic fuel reserve. We actually need fuel reserves on shore. Current govt won’t fix the problem as they probably think a few wind farms will do the trick.
