@GraceRandolph Why with four options is there only 1 positive option. "Not a fan" and "meh" are basically the same. And "if there is more to come" is also pretty bad. Shouldnt the options be it's perfect, it's ok, meh, not a fan??
@Invencivelrafa I think people forget this was filmed during the pandemic, so they had to make loads of short cuts because it was probably really hard to do locations shoots with so the social distancing and restrictions. I think considering the constraints the film turned out good.
@OctoY1 MoT won't get near BND. I'd be super happy if it gets to $850m, as it's heading in the right direction. Could a Superman film make as much as BND? I believe it's possible, but you need to have consistently good films that resonate with general audiences. And then a banger movie.
@jkbaker1117 I really like Superman 2025, i do think it is one of the better Superman movies. But do concede, Lex shouting out commands does really bother me. Not enough to ruin the movie. But yeah i wish he'd come to with something better to show lex was calling the shots.
@David_Da_Boss Wrong. With the exception of Spiderman, film rights for all pictured belong to Disney. At one point they belonged to other studios, but not anymore. Hulks film distribution rights still belong to Universal, but Marvel can put him in any film, it just can't be a Hulk film.
@CaseyBookAuthor Was Starfire even a project? Booster gold is still in development, just not that writers vision. Paradise lost hasn't been cancelled. Not sure about swamp thing. The only one that was announced and paused was The Authority, and it sounded like they could circle back to it later.

@THR The reasons it succeeded.
1) it's Spiderman, even a crap Spidy film brings in a reasonable audience. Look at ASM 2
2) It had a great marketing campaign.
3) it's well written and directed with great action beats & story moments, so word of mouth will enhance performance further.
@pureMetatron The film was mediocre, you don't come out of it him recommending to friends to go see it. I also think they needed to establish Supergirl more in other films before spinning her off into her own thing. Maybe after Man of Tomorrow, with a good script. It could've worked.
@Ofcimcold I think Tom is the best overall Spiderman, but if someone is new to the character I'd have to recommend the Toby films as they give you the basics.
@bigbrownson He has superhuman durability, enough so his bones been handle the impact of jumping vast distances and landing on his hands and feet. He can take a knock or two, and impact damage is reduced but he isn't so durable that bullets and knives can't pierce his skin.
@Sksj002 I'm lots of iterations when the X men first worst they are young adults in there late teens or early 20s. They also need to cast young to ensure they can get as long out of the actors for years.
@thatdcuniverse I mean, Streaming and PVOD were not as popular. Inflation wasn't as high, COVID hadn't happened knocking viewership down on movies over all. And MoS didn't have to overcome The bad reputation of the previous shared universe... Oh and China's cinema hadn't taken off as big as now.
@cosmicbooknews Sorry I've spotted a typo. I've corrected...

@ManneredReport I'm a green lantern fan and I'm not bothered by an aged Hal or aliens in disguise, that's a trope thats been fine before. I love the justice League animated series and that didn't even have Hal mentioned except in one 30 second cameo. And that does is regarded very well.
