A week ago I was rejected for something I deeply wanted (career related, not love) and have spent the time since in a depressive doomscroll spiral, but today I cleaned my room about it, purged tons of clothing, and I am starting to feel ok again.
We are so back.
What I’ve noticed with my baby as we approach starting solids is this heavy emphasis on fruit purées and cereals from the “experts”. It’s awful. Actual nutrient-dense foods like egg, liver or butter get frowned upon, yet that’s exactly what they need.
At around 6 months babies have limited pancreatic amylase to digest complex carbohydrates like grains and starches. Classic studies show this enzyme is still very low and only ramps up later, which is why early starch loads can lead to incomplete digestion and discomfort for them.
They are equipped to handle fat and protein. Most importantly CHOLESTEROL. Breast milk is full of it because it’s essential for brain myelination and rapid development in the first years.
So why are the “experts” pushing first foods that are often low-fat and low in bioavailable nutrients? Babies thriveee on fat/protein/cholesterol-rich foods that echo milk. Low-fat, low-nutrient starters are not it!
When working with mold/CIRS patients, I've encountered several cases of H. pylori overgrowing.
And i've successfully used antimicrobial peptides like LL-37 alongside other interventions to subdue it.
Across multiple studies, LL-37 has consistently been shown to be potent against all H. pylori strains demonstrating clear bactericidal effects.
Just a little clue for anyone dealing with ongoing H. pylori, LL-37 is worth considering as part of your antimicrobial protocol.
Elon Musk almost died twice in the same year and most people have no idea it ever happened.
In 2000, right after selling his first company, he went on vacation to Africa and South America. He came back with something far worse than a tan.
He had contracted falciparum malaria. The deadliest kind. The kind that kills you.
He was misdiagnosed at first. By the time doctors figured out what was actually attacking his body, he was close to death. He spent ten days in intensive care. He lost nearly 45 pounds. A doctor reportedly told him that if he had come in a day later, he would have died.
The same year, the company he had just helped build voted him out as CEO while he was traveling.
Near death in a hospital bed. Pushed out of his own company. One year.
He later joked that vacations will kill you.
But the real lesson is darker and more useful. The year that nearly ended him became the foundation of everything. He recovered, took the capital, and built SpaceX and Tesla.
The years that almost destroy you are sometimes the ones that set up everything that follows.
@RMistereggen That man doesnt need being deported. He needs to be executed. There is a time where enough is enough. Too many crimes committed. Of too sadistic types.
