Chelsea announced Xabi Alonso, yet he doesn’t officially start until July. Meanwhile, Liverpool only announced their manager this week, and he’s already doing shirt presentations and getting straight to work. By the time July comes around, Liverpool will probably have completed most of their transfer business.

That’s what frustrates me with Chelsea. Everything takes so long. Every decision feels dragged out, every transfer becomes a saga, and there always seems to be endless meetings and briefings. Serious clubs identify targets, make decisions, and move quickly.

Kendry Paez is proof that logic like “we didn’t need Olise because we got Estevao” is flawed. No matter how good for their age a 17-18 yo is, there’s so many factors that can cause that player to not fulfil the potential they clearly have. Injuries and attitude are two of them.

This is the first ref that will never all VAR interfere to his game, he literally took charge of the game. I love this and hope to see this type of ref in the worldcup
