Aug 1, WBKO reported petitioning was under way with Chase's own campaign aiming for 7,500 by Sep 6.

Chase won the nomination May 26 (67 days to plan). You comparing diff things.

But I was at the game the last day before the League got cancelled for COVID. Our HS has students raise money all 4 years at school events, and we had raised enough to go we decided to go to the game.

Who knew what would come from that game.
