Welcome to Hammer community!!
We r always working to optimize details based on user feedback, making our mining machines to perform at their best!!!
So here we are, 24 hours after receiving my Hammer Miner model BC04 ⚒️
First, the shipping was incredibly fast. I buy a lot of equipment from China, and I've NEVER received my packages this quickly—only 5 days from Hong Kong to Canada. A huge thank you to @AlexHammerMiner for the outstanding customer service 🔥
The miner was very well packaged, in a Hammer Miner printed box, protected with Styrofoam. The packaging contained the BC04, the stand, and the PCU.
From the first time you pick it up, you can tell it's not cheap; it's heavy, well-built, and well-finished. On the front, there's a small, original LILYGO LED screen, and on the back, we can see the Cooler mounting bracket for LGA 1200/1700, which are the Intel sockets for the latest generation of CPUs. Most Chinese companies that build NerdQAxe++ miners typically use cheap, low-quality sockets and fake LILYGO LED screens to save on mass production costs, so we seem to be dealing with a Cadillac with the BC04.
The BC04 contains four BM1970 ASIC chips, which gives a hashrate of approximately 6 TH/s in the pre-configured "Overclock" mode, which was already set up when I received the machine. There are 3 modes: Normal, Overclock, and Custom ( using "Custom" mode is at your own risk and may void your warranty if something happens; use it only if you are experienced and aware of the risks ).
The miner connects via Wi-Fi OR Ethernet, an option I like, but for the first 24 hours I'm testing with Wi-Fi, and will do another test with Ethernet to see if there are any major differences.
The setup is classic and very simple: plug in the miner, connect to the BC04 Wi-Fi access point, enter your Wi-Fi information to connect the miner to the internet, add your pool, your Bitcoin address, and you're good to go ⛏️
The firmware is easy to use, but it was much nicer before I updated it. The user interface is different on the main page, and the old one was much clearer and easier to read. Perhaps the UI will improve with future updates.
During the first 24 hours, it drew 89.3 Watts for an average hashrate of 5.88 TH/s, which is excellent and better than other models in its category! Where I live, there's been an intense heatwave for the past two days, so I added a small fan to the back just in case. But without downclocking, the temperature varies between 58 and 62 degrees Celsius, which isn't worrying at all.
There's only one fan located at the front; it's extremely quiet, so I didn't need to remove the fan guard (removing the fan guard can reduce fan noise, but always at your own risk). Note that there's a second pin connector on the front, so it's possible to add a fan to the back if needed.
The PSU is the same one I had with one of my NerdQAxes; it's a GM-H250S12 model, a Chinese industrial PSU manufactured by Shenzhen Olink Research Co. Their PSUs are widely used in the mining and server industries. I had one on another machine, and it's a very good quality PSU with an integrated fan that keeps it at room temperature. Nothing worrying to report about the PSU ⚡️
Currently, my BC04 is the only miner I own, across all categories, that I haven't needed to downclock today due to the extreme outside temperature, which is a big plus, because it's always disheartening for a miner to have to downclock their machines and consequently reduce their chances of finding a Bitcoin block ...
A big Congratulations to @hammerminer for bringing high-quality products to market at excellent prices, generally cheaper than a "Good Quality" NerdQAxe rev 6.1.
This is definitely a miner I recommend, and I'm really looking forward to trying other models they produce !
I'll give an update in a week to see how it performs over a longer period, and if any problems arise, I'll let you know !
If you have any questions, feel free to contact me, and I'll answer to the best of my ability 🤜🤛
( More pictures of the miner and firmware are in the comments )
@Braiinsforge Based in China, the biggest challenge is the internet. Government blocks most websites, which makes connecting to mining pools like Braiins extremely difficult.
Tried dedicated lines, set up VPNs, and even used oversea SIM with hotspot tethering.
Finally did it....
We compared the Hammer Miner BC04 to the NerdQaxe++ Rev 7 ⚡⛏️
Both are compact 4- chip BM1370 home Bitcoin miners, but we think the Hammer Miner BC04 takes the crown.
Don’t take our word for it, read the article and judge for yourself 👇

Meet the Hammer BC08, real hashrate never lies.
Hooked up the little beast to Braiins, stacking 550 sats everyday via lightning.
Every sat counts!!

The Miner Performance Triangle 🎯
Hashrate · Efficiency · Silence
You can only pick two. Model A: 6T, 17J/T, 2800 RPM (quiet & efficient). Model B: 8T, 20J/T, 4000+ RPM (raw power, loud).
RPM = Revolutions Per Minute. Lower = quieter. Higher = more noise.
Which one do you choose?
Congratulations to @RiglyBlockParty with 150PH from their combined party for mining solo block 315 at https://t.co/UWgBvLkDqc! This much hashrate has about a 1 in 50 chance of mining a block each day.

My Hammer Miner BC 04 has been shipped ✈️
As soon as I receive it, I'll do a full review and comparisons with the NerdQAxe++ rev 6.1 👀
