Well, there goes the greatest footballer I've ever seen and probably ever will see.
A genuinely life-changing nine years for all of us who grew up during the time he generated so much joy and so many adventures.
A privilege that he chose to give his best to us. Alhamdulillah.
FA Cup Final day. A day of what could've been for us.
Just the tiny issue of going out in the Extra Preliminary Round stopped us.
Fine margins at the top level...
The Premier League have had that coming all season. Have encouraged a league built on set-pieces by letting everything go at corners all season, then decide in the most decisive game of the season they’ve probably been doing it wrong for the last eight months
I honestly find it tough to put into words how much I despise VAR.
As supporters and viewers we’ve given up so much for this to be implemented - killed the purity of celebrating goals. And it’s still so imperfect.
Would everyone have a bit more perspective if binned?
Arsenal fans sing “feed the Scousers” and Everton put Fans Supporting Foodbanks’ logo on the screen straight away. Quality from Everton. Absolutely embarrassing from the Arsenal fans singing it.
Solidarity with @SFoodbanks. Hunger doesn’t wear club colours 💙❤️
Some beautiful words spoken from everyone here.
Thanks to the many, many people who came up to me today saying they enjoy @TheBlueRoomEFC and @LivEchoEFC.
It’s hard at times, but it’s a dream to cover this football club for a living. You’re all gorgeous #EFC
When Gary Neville says "you wouldn't see this in under 9s or under 10s football" - you would though, wouldn't you. In an U9s game I once saw a goalkeeper shout to his teammate, as the game was going on, "JAMES, HAVE YOU FINISHED CHARLOTTE'S WEB YET?"
