i worked for them for years

one of my superiors ended up coughing up blood from stress ulcers, many used cocaine to keep up with the schedules- they often scheduled people for closing shifts followed by opening shifts

i got tennis elbow from the repeated joint strain from chopping meat and veggies, was paid barely above minimum wage, and sometimes had insane commutes depending on what store they sent me to

no one really had job security which led to dynamics where stress and pressure would roll downhill from unseen upper management

i had other circumstances that prompted me to change my life but if i hadn't i might still be there, desperately unhappy and unfulfilled and not reaching anywhere close to my potential
