Alexander the Great

The ongoing adventures of Alexander of Macedon - only the greatest of kings and military leaders ever to live.

[Alexander the Great @AlexMegistos]

@PompeiusMagnus1 But, uh, just remember, I'm still the god here. #ANCS350

[Alexander the Great @AlexMegistos]

@PompeiusMagnus1 You and I should form a duumvirate of greatness and rule over the Mediterranean together! #ANCS350

[Alexander the Great @AlexMegistos]

@PompeiusMagnus1 I know that. My dad did that all the time when I was growing up, cramping on my style and denying me the throne. #ANCS350

[Alexander the Great @AlexMegistos]

@PompeiusMagnus1 I saw no need to follow the rules of others when I could simply make my own. #ANCS350

[Alexander the Great @AlexMegistos]

@PompeiusMagnus1 Is that so? I suppose that makes you a darling of the political system then. #ANCS350

[Alexander the Great @AlexMegistos]

@AlrictheVis @ScriptaPuella I was the king of Macedon, Egypt, Persia, and Asia, and the god of all four! #ANCS350

[Alexander the Great @AlexMegistos]

@AlrictheVis @ScriptaPuella I have no need for such savage titles, those are for the lot of barbarians. #ANCS350

[Alexander the Great @AlexMegistos]

@Pyrrus11 You should be slaying those beasts in India, not bringing them into our homeland and sullying the plains of Greece! #ANCS350

[Alexander the Great @AlexMegistos]

@Pyrrus11 Foolish son of Macedon! How dare you sully our great empire by bringing elephants into our ranks! #ANCS350

[Alexander the Great @AlexMegistos]

@PompeiusMagnus1 Just what did you do to make yourself worthy of such a great honor of greatness? #ANCS350

[Alexander the Great @AlexMegistos]

@PompeiusMagnus1 So I hear that you too have managed to earn the title of "Great" within your own time. #ANCS350

[Alexander the Great @AlexMegistos]

@AlrictheVis @ScriptaPuella Did you bathe in the riches of all of Asia while its people worshiped you as a god? I thought not. #ANCS350

[Alexander the Great @AlexMegistos]

@AlrictheVis @ScriptaPuella Did you, my friend, lead the conquering of the Persian Empire, a kingdom still in its prime? #ANCS350

[Alexander the Great @AlexMegistos]

@AlrictheVis @ScriptaPuella Rome? You mean that backwater shantytown in Italy? What care should I give to a place such as that? #ANCS350

[Alexander the Great @AlexMegistos]

Fine, we shall return to Babylon, but I expect that when they have finished their business they shall fight twice as hard for me. #ANCS350

[Alexander the Great @AlexMegistos]

Do they not realize what they are saying? I am their king and their god! My needs come before theirs! #ANCS350

[Alexander the Great @AlexMegistos]

They tell me that they refuse to fight anymore and they want to go back home to their families. #ANCS350

[Alexander the Great @AlexMegistos]

But it would appear that my men do not want to share in my sorrow, instead they have grown even angrier than before. #ANCS350

[Alexander the Great @AlexMegistos]

I erected an entire city to serve as his grave marker, and it shall forever be known as Bucephala. #ANCS350

[Alexander the Great @AlexMegistos]

Bucephalus, my faithful steed, passed away after years of faithful service to me. #ANCS350
