Probably because in 2010s a group of clubs put in place self serving rules that meant even where a club qualified into the CL, won the EL and then qualified again into the CL (all with a wage bill 30% off the top teams) it’s still forced to sell their best player to the Champions

@Giniesta10 Yeah, tough to stay positive but I guess you have to alter expectations. Qualifying for Europe in any way this coming season, if Tonali and Hall leaves aswell, would be like winning the league. For now Im just trying to enjoy the World Cup.
