The bottleneck for oversight is the accessibility and transfer speed of information.

When reporters’ FOIAs take months/years and take thousands of dollars to process --- oversight suffers

When I have to ask a question in committee about how a program works because there is no published information on it and they hit me with the “we’ll have to get back to you” and then never do --- oversight suffers.

If AI can't answer our questions, we haven't put enough information online yet.
