As a human rights activist, I am absolutely appalled at the horrific, inexcusable violence that Spanish police used to beat up the Gaza flotilla activists on their return.
I am sure that all those who rose in condemnation of Israel just days prior, will speak out now?
Yesterday, ADL partnered with @EUintheUS to brief EU diplomats on the ADL AI Index and other research from the ADL Center for Technology and Society examining AI and its potential nefarious uses.
ADL continues to engage policymakers in the U.S. and abroad to help ensure these technologies are not weaponized to spread hate and extremism.
A mayor represents every New Yorker. Using City Hall resources to post a one-sided video about Israel’s founding — omitting the UN partition plan, the Arab rejection, the reasons that many Palestinians left, the many who stayed and the 850,000 Jewish refugeesforced to leave Arab lands — isn’t commemoration. It’s propaganda. Releasing it right before Shabbat isn’t leadership. It’s provocation. Especially when Nakba Day “commemorations” in this city featured open support for US-designated terror organizations, veneration of their leaders, and calls for Israel’s destruction. New Yorkers deserve a mayor with the moral clarity to call that out.
Mayor Mamdani: the refugees you post about exist because 22 Arab states launched a war to destroy Israel on May 15, 1948—rejecting the UN plan that also called for a Palestinian state. In its aftermath, 800,000 Jews were expelled from Arab lands. Your post mentions none of this.
#OnThisDay in 1948, on the English calendar, David Ben Gurion stood at the podium of what is now Independence Hall in Tel Aviv and read Israel's Declaration of Independence. The modern Jewish and democratic state of @Israel was officially established in the Jewish people's ancestral homeland. #AmYisraelChai
Must listen. @MattiFriedman joins @dansenor to unpack how Nicholas Kristof's @nytimes column on alleged sexual violence committed against Palestinians gets the story badly wrong, relying on sources like Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor, which has falsely accused Israel of organ theft and claims dogs are trained to rape prisoners. That kind of sourcing doesn't just discredit a column. It leads people to question sexual violence allegations, doing a profound disservice to victims everywhere.
All victims of sexual violence deserve rigorous, impartial journalism. This is not it.

Honored to have hosted over over two dozen representatives from NY consulates for a lively and engaged Quarterly Consular Roundtable where our experts and diplomats discussed the national and regional findings of ADL's 2025 Audit of Antisemitic Incidents as well as CTS's latest research on antisemitism and extremism in AI.
ADL deeply mourns the loss of our longtime national director, Abraham H. Foxman z”l. Abe, a Holocaust survivor, served his entire 50-year career at ADL, becoming one of the world’s foremost voices against antisemitism and hate.
May his memory be a blessing.

🚨BREAKING: ADL recorded a total of 6,274 incidents of antisemitic assault, harassment and vandalism across the U.S. in 2025, an average of 17 incidents per day. Incidents occurred in all 50 states and Washington D.C.
The total number of incidents decreased by 33% from 2024 – that's measurable progress. However, the total remains 70% higher than in 2022, prior to the Oct. 7th Hamas massacre, and 130% higher than 5 years ago.
2025 was the third highest year on record for antisemitic incidents since ADL began tracking them in 1979. It was also one of the most violent years in recent memory. Physical assaults increased by 4%, assaults involving a deadly weapon increased by 39% and three people were murdered in antisemitic attacks in the U.S.
Behind every incident is a real person or community. A young couple shot outside a museum. An elderly woman killed at a peaceful walk. A rabbi stabbed on the street. A child that has to see a swastika on their preschool building. Worshippers being harassed outside their synagogue.
This is unacceptable. That’s why ADL is monitoring threats, litigating in courtrooms, educating in classrooms, advocating in the halls of Congress and standing with every Jewish community under attack.

Congratulations to my colleague @aykan_erdemir, @ADL's Senior Director of Global Research and Diplomatic Affairs, on being named one of @washingtonian’s “500 Most Influential People in Policy" - for the 3rd year in a row!
ADL is so lucky to have you. https://t.co/d2dUjXDjyo
USAID's @AidOversight has identified 4 additional current or former UNRWA staff who participated in the 10/7 massacre and/or have ties to Hamas — including three teachers and one social worker. All four allegedly held civilians hostage.
This follows prior revelations that other UNRWA employees took part in the attack and that UNRWA schools have been used for weapons storage and Hamas operations.
How can UNRWA assert neutrality and maintain objectivity while continuing to face serious allegations of ties to a terrorist organization? https://t.co/O5hQdsdU9a
Honored to join @israeliamerican, the Jersey City Jewish Association and the Jersey City community to commemorate the 78th anniversary of Israel's Independence.
I had the distinct pleasure of joining leaders in the #JerseyCity Jewish for a wonderful #YomHaatzmaut flag raising ceremony at City Hall. It was wonderful to be there with #BrandiRubin@ADL_NYNJ Deputy Reg. Director to say #AmIsraelChai
It was a distinct pleasure hosting Amb.

Instagram is one of the most innovative and ubiquitous platforms online but @ADL has found that bad actors have capitalized on its lax content moderation policies to promote antisemitism and extremism.
Meta can and should take steps to stop the spread of such hate and prevent extremists from exploiting Instagram. https://t.co/4TzWuxBCRC
