It was the opportunity of a lifetime to spread Jewish light and pride during such a time of darkness on college campuses. The greatest thing I learned as a college student - beyond my accomplishments - was to have faith and find greater meaning in community and spirituality 🩵
🎓 My Parents Fled Antisemitism. I Graduate a Proud Jew!
"I finally found greater meaning in my life and felt like I was enough when I found myself in the Jewish community."
During her speech at the University of Oregon Commencement Ceremony, @UOChabad board president Luda Isakharov reminds us of the importance of embracing our Jewish identity and heritage.
My colleague @IsakharovLuda is exactly right. For too long, institutions have treated the exclusion of Jewish and Israeli artists as acceptable collateral damage. It isn't. @ADL's State of the Arts research names this problem directly and demands institutions answer for it. Jewish Americans have helped shape American culture for generations and we are not going anywhere.
This work has been deeply personal to me.
We cannot look away as Jewish artists and stories are pushed out of our cultural institutions. We refuse to be erased, and we’re just getting started.
Proud to have led this effort, and even prouder of what we’re fighting for.
Jewish and Israeli artists are being quietly pushed out of America's museums, stages and bookshelves. That's why ADL launched State of the Arts, new research tracking this exclusion and demanding accountability across American cultural life.
ADL's @IsakharovLuda said it best: "The work we do now to push these institutions to do the right thing will shape the culture, the media, the art, and the stories told to our children ten years from now. Jewish American artists helped shape American arts and culture in so many ways. We have to fight to keep our place, and we refuse to be erased."

We are aware of the shooting that took place near the Capital Jewish Museum in Washington, DC tonight, where Israeli embassy staff were tragically murdered. We are still gathering details.
Make no mistake: this was an attack on the Jewish community.
🎧 In this Chai-er Ed bonus episode, @UMich President @SantaJOno shares how he visited the Nova exhibit on his birthday — and emphasizes empathy, accountability, and action in supporting Jewish students and confronting antisemitism. Listen here: https://t.co/as14MKVANc
🚨 New episode just dropped — a must-listen for anyone who cares about campus leadership.
👉 I recently sat down with President @SantaJOno on @ADL’s Chai-er Ed.

‼️Just dropped a new episode of @ADL’s Chai-er Ed ‼️
I sat down with Columbia student Noah Lederman, who was physically assaulted near campus and turned that pain into purpose.

It was a great pleasure to host Dr. Gabriele Goldfuß & Dr. Sven Trautmann of @StadtLeipzig's Office for International Affairs and @DAIS_Leipzig Director Eric Fraunholz at @ADL_WashDC to discuss local, national, & global interventions to counter antisemitism and Holocaust denial.
Proud moment testifying before Maryland lawmakers alongside brave @Univ_System_MD students in support of the CAMPUS Act & Remove Discrimination in Education Act.
Their stories make it clear—Maryland must act!
📌 ADL brought UMD students to testify before MD lawmakers for the Maryland Campus Accountability Act & Remove Discrimination in Education Act. Assistant Regional Director @IsakharovLuda and students shared firsthand accounts of antisemitism on campus.

I cannot help but post the entire speech Gal Gadot made today at the ADL's Never is Now conference. It's just too perfect.
What an honor to be on the same stage as her.
I’m disappointed, but not surprised, that my alma mater, @uoregon, received a D on the @ADL Campus Report Card.
Jewish students deserve better. There’s no excuse for this failure—I hope to see real change and a higher grade next year.

I am thrilled to host @ADL's new podcast, Chai-er Ed—spotlighting Jewish college student stories: the good, the bad & the hopeful.🎙️✨
Our first episode features Ben Marcus @BrownUniversity, who shared his story publicly for the first time.

A few weeks ago, I joined Jonathan Dekel-Chen with @_MarinaRos to demand for his son’s return.
Today, I cried happy tears seeing Sagui finally back in his arms.
Bring every single one of them home, NOW ❤️🩹🎗️
Sasha, Sagui and Iair are all from Kibbutz Nir Oz – where 1 in every 4 people were murdered or kidnapped on 10/7.
In the past 16 months, we’ve met the hostage families and have come to know their loved ones through stories, photos and prayers.
Just weeks ago, my @ADL colleagues joined Sagui’s father, Jonathan Dekel-Chen, at a rally in DC. Jonathan has fought tirelessly for over a year to bring his son – an American-Israeli citizen – home.
Last month while in Israel, I met Dalia Kushnir, the sister-in-law of Iair and Eitan Horn. Iair is finally home, but his brother Eitan remains in Hamas captivity.
73 hostages, including Eitan, remain in captivity. We cannot stop until each and every one of them is home. #BringThemHome #UntilTheLastHostage
NEW: Today the Maryland General Assembly held a hearing on @JoeVogel_’s bill requiring Title VI coordinators at universities & K-12 schools.
Should this pass, Maryland will be the first state to take this important action to combat antisemitism & discrimination facing students.
Today, I testified in support of @JoeVogel_ bill requiring MD schools to designate Title VI coordinators—alongside 3 brave UMD students who shared their stories.
This is a common-sense step toward protecting the civil rights of Jewish students & other marginalized groups!
Today, ADL’s @_MarinaRos and @IsakharovLuda joined hostage families in DC, including Jonathan Dekel-Chen, whose son Sagui remains in captivity. Romi, Emily & Doron’s release has brought so many joy – as well as renewed hope. We will not rest until each and every hostage is home.
Hostage families gathered today on the National Mall, calling for the return of ALL hostages.
Today’s news brought a sense of hope but also urgency to secure the release of every hostage.
