There’s no shortcut to becoming a consistently profitable trader.
You can learn the strategy quickly. You can understand the concepts. You can find good entries.
But developing the discipline to execute properly when real money is on the line takes time.
You have to learn how to sit on your hands when there’s no setup. You have to accept a loss without trying to immediately win it back. You have to take profit without becoming greedy. And you have to stay with your plan when the last few trades didn’t work.
Build the process. Control the risk. Stay patient.
Trading is as much about controlling yourself as it is about reading the market.
The goal isn’t to become profitable for one week.
The goal is to build a way of trading that you can sustain for years.
@Morayo_Ay Im still waiting for more price-action & confirmation. $EU on the daily is still bullish. Would like to see the retrace within the daily FVG for continuations up. For shorts, I have to wait for the break of the low at ~1.15140
Could give you multiple answers here.
1. After the BoS you can expect price to retrace before moving down. The first anwers was before the BoS was created and therefore too early.
2. The people who go short within the first trade are becoming liquidity before the real move. Looking at the second entry, you see liquidity has been taken.
3. Cant see the timeframe, but timing could be also key here. If you trade intraday, you want to see the setup in the killzone for the highest prob. First entry could be therefore too early again.
@En_Shelton Take a look at the daily chart. We can conclude from there that the market has bullish momentum. In addition, yesterday's candle swept the lows of the consolidation. Therefore, you could expect a bullish reaction today.
Shorting is countertrend, and therefore less prob
