@Hertz UPDATE: PlatePass apologized for how terrible @Hertz is and acknowledged how bad their customer service & training is. They cut the "convenience fee" by 50%. Still shitty, but at least they didn't give me a bot response and faked like they cared on a public forum.

Never renting from @Hertz again. They tried to charge my card without telling me so fraud caught it. I'd say this is actually the definition of fraud. A "convenience fee" that's 180% more than the actual tolls I went through? 🤡🐍#hertz #carrental #frauds

Meanwhile in my DMs, a bot just recites the tiny fine print of their terms and conditions where they unethically hide charges.
