Isn’t it interesting how we all view things differently.

I see an awesome, calm, police officer explaining to a group of men why there’s nothing she can do about a guy with a loud hailer shouting offensive rhetoric about Islam.

But what I also see is a group of also calm men explaining why they believe it was hate speech and how many people in the area are being upset by the rhetoric.

I see a perfectly reasonable, calm exchange between a group of men and one woman that doesn’t fit any of the stereotypes the Right want to attach to Muslim men.

They are entitled to question how it’s OK for someone with a loud hailer to shout offensive anti-Muslim rhetoric at passers by.

And she is entitled to explain to them that that’s free speech and they should just ignore him.

They don’t abuse her, they don’t shout at her, they don’t get aggressive, they don’t threaten her.

They don’t do any of the things those on the Right are adamant they *would* do to a lone women🤷🏼‍♀️
