This like the "weve established what you are- now we're haggling on price" joke- should we respect graves and the dead or not? The victorians were digging these lot of and racking up lines of corpse dust. Imo that was a bit much
This is such an interesting clash of cultures. I'm not sure Gaza ranks among even the top 20 foreign policy questions of the last 25 years. Iraq is a bit higher, but in the long run, surprisingly inconsequential too.
A massive data centre is currently seeking planning permission in Keswick, Norfolk. Whilst it’s outside of Norwich South, hundreds of my constituents have reached out to me expressing their opposition to the proposal. I share their concerns.
Stacking a 20-metre building across 32 acres is far too big for a rural entrance to the city, right on the edge of Marston Marsh. The constant noise, heat, and lighting threaten protected wildlife areas and nearby marshlands.
I also agree with my South Norfolk colleague Ben Goldsborough MP about the potential heat island effect. A site this large risks raising local temperatures, causing damage that cannot be fixed or offset, so it mustn't be allowed to go ahead.
Data centres are part of modern life. But that doesn’t mean developers should get a free hand. Any major proposal needs plain, transparent answers on water use, power demand, true company ownership, and realistic claims about future impacts.
Planning authorities must properly consider solid grounds for refusal, from water shortages to the impact on local school children, and push for direct community investment in jobs and skills. I urge South Norfolk Council to do so here.
📹NEW VIDEO -- British Lord Has MELTDOWN After Israel Questions. We Were Shocked.
We got a furious response from the former Conservative minister Lord Michael Gove when we asked about his position on Israel at the Labour Conference.

We’ve reached the “We need Jonesism, but without Owen Jones” stage of reassuring the public that their leaders and media outlets have not been 100% onboard with crimes against humanity and working relentlessly to suppress, discredit and crack down upon opposition
It’s a little sad Dev Patel seemingly wasnt even in consideration for Bond. MONKEY MAN felt like his audition for Bond the same way LAYER CAKE was for Daniel Craig.
@lowerformofwit Ive watched last few seasons cos my partner mildly liked it and went back to watch s1 cos i was really suprised people raving about. It was always shit but s1 was least lazy imo.
@chorowitzxxx@theoceanblooms@raphaelbittenka Yeah by similar i mean if you future-project tom 30 years will he seem similar to logan? (including playing up his country boy outsider roots rather than playing them down)
The amount Jackdaw will cut bills: £0
The number of jobs it will support: 27
The net cost of Jackdaw & Rosebank to our economy: at least £90 billion.
Life's too short to pretend that calls to drill baby drill are anything other but a fast track for us all to burn baby burn.
Since its première, in 2022, “Slow Horses”—Apple TV’s fast-paced espionage drama about a division of MI5 where the screwups and sluggards end up—has become “a treasure to those in the know, and a nonentity to outsiders,” Inkoo Kang writes. The show, starring Gary Oldman and Jack Lowden, boasts nearly two dozen Emmy nominations, and a few wins, but has never reached the breakout status of “Ted Lasso” or “Severance.” Read why Kang thinks the underrated program is the best on Apple TV:https://t.co/0g9C8qaxqz
Imagine if they had bothered to spy on the spies in their own ranks, such as the Cambridge 5; Philby, Burgess, Maclean & Blunt, instead of a true patriot and socialist. Utterly useless.
Buried on page 30 of 'Sir' David Bellend's report into antisemitism in schools in the UK it explicitly says there hasn't been a rise in antisemitism, only in anti-Israel sentiment. Astonishingly fraudulent crisis/debate, all to shield a genocidal state
This highlights exactly what is wrong with the Labour party and is a big reason why I left.
People are tired of politicians pissing on them and telling them it's raining.
And when politicians rarely tell the truth they're punished and made to U-turn. Pathetic.
@swishtubistate@poolofbees@theoceanblooms No were in agreement lol- part of how they confirm their dad is interested in pierce is a pierce at the party ie not naomi
Very interesting - Pat McFadden tells The Telegraph that young NEETs will be given advice on how to set up their own businesses
I speak to so many young people who dream of being entrepreneurs but, if you’ve never known a business owner and nobody can advise you, how can you begin?
This can lead to young people falling prey to unscrupulous influencers.
This has the potential to be a great thing from government.
