Investment banking analysts: "I did 6 internships, had a 3.9 GPA, was president of our finance club, and sent 100 cold emails to land this job."
Investment banking MDs: "I was working in the mailroom, and someone asked me if I wanted to be a banker. I didn't even know what it was but said yes. Now I earn 7 figures a year."

@owroot I watched a Seinfeld episode the other day, and the first thing I noticed was how people dressed. Everyone dressed better—no athleisure in sight.
@owroot It’s easy to stand out from everyone else today if you put effort into your style and overall appearance. It doesn’t take much because almost everyone is wearing athleisure.
@NecktieSalvage Almost everyone dresses like they're going to the gym. It takes little to no effort to dress like that and that mentality carries into the rest of their day.
@NecktieSalvage I saw a video today of NYC in the 1930s. All the men were wearing suits and women dresses.
Today people wear pajama pants in public. Smh.
