I feel like I’ve adjusted to living in Texas because I just walked outside…. Had the thought, “wow, it’s nice out! Not even hot!” …and it is currently 92 degrees 🤣
I just left the ER.
We are officially back to getting crushed by COVID-19.
Delta Variant is running rampant and it’s MUCH more transmissible than the original virus.
99% of our ICU admits did NOT receive a vaccine.
Virtually ALL of them wish they had.
This is one of those moments the realization of moving to a city across the country where I have no friends/family settles in. Send good vibes. Warm ones. 😔
Haven’t had power since it went out at 2am last night. Apartment is so cold I can see my breath— pipes are frozen, no running water. Roads are not safe to drive bc Texas isn’t equipped to handle snow. I’m cold and hungry and this is miserable.
Took every candle I own and every pillow and blanket I have and shut myself in my walk in closet— the candles are providing some heat/light and I sat in my car long enough to charge my phone. Theyre saying “hopefully” power will be back on tomorrow. 😔
