The competitive pricing may make it possible for people to buy more at Amazon versus the pricing if it was in a brick-and-mortar store, but there is no definitive answer whether e-tailing is more or less green than brick-and-mortar options

In response to Amazon, UPS disclosed in 2017 that the boom in online shopping has decreased the number of packages dropped off per mile, leading to more trucks on the road, and therefore higher greenhouse gas emissions.
@danny_w_sustain@EcoSoc3315 I do agree with this part but sometimes capitalism and important shareholders will always find a way to acquire new access to capital. I think ENGOs should really add pressure to those corporates.
@EcoSoc3315 A pandemic is not a proper environmental tool for activism since the entire focal point should be more about finding a cure to the virus. We should look at the virus holistically so we can cure the virus and save the environment without sacrificing human lives.
