Just returned from my first @VirginVoyages sailing on Valiant Lady’s “MerMaiden” Voyage. I’ve sailed quite a bit w/ other lines in the past & had cautiously optimistic expectations for Virgin. It blew those expectations out of the water & in 7 short days, earned my loyalty (1/4)

that Virgin is excelling with crew compared to other lines. Following the @richardbranson mentality of “take care of your employees and they will take care of your business”. The food & entertainment was spectacular. The ship was beautiful. The full experience was excellent (3/4)

Not only does @upwork charge a ridiculous 20% fee on billables, now they announce they'll be charging freelancers to apply to jobs too?! I'd estimate >50% of jobs posted close w/o a hire. Terrible move #upwork. Lighting the way for a new disruptor in the freelancer industry!
