@27LEV1 @yaoisaitl that was my thought, used to be Eichel and Reinhert. Then Peterka and Quinn with Cozens as their occasional third. But I can’t think of any current ships.
@yaoisaitl Sabres fan here, it used to be Jack Eichel/Sam Reinhert but they were obviously both traded. For a while it might’ve been Jack Quinn/JJ Peterka/Dylan Cozens throuple but Peterka and Cozens also got traded. I don’t think we’ve gotten a new one since
@CaelanRisu@landofpoppies39@thebrthofvns when teams are playing away games, they fly to the city they’re playing then rent a bus to bring the players from the airport to the hotel and to the arena.
@thebrthofvns also players are not allowed to travel to or home from games separately from the team, the only exceptions made are for personal emergencies (ex. death in the family, birth of a child, etc). This has been a rule since Tim Horton’s car crash in 1974
@lalalulu1793@fujobritta this is how teams would matchup if the playoffs started today. division rivals will play each other more often in the reg season whereas western teams will play eastern teams 1-2 times each during reg season. In the playoffs, west and east will only play each other in the finals
@magpieros@fujobritta The record for most goals scored by a single team in a game is 16, set by Montreal in 1920. The record for most goals by a single player in a game is 7, also set in 1920. Scoring goals is WAY harder now than it used to be. Goalies have way better protection and are MUCH crazier
@asillylittlepal@weenmachine27 The Buffalo Sabres have quite a big Finnish fanbase because of Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen and we’re finally playing well again, we’re in a playoff spot for the first time in 15 seasons
@Kyrrdis@blackmagnet0 the salary cap is to prevent 1 team from signing all the star players in the league. For example, MLB doesn’t have a salary cap, so a big market/super rich team like the Yankees can sign as many star players as they want, it’s one of the reasons they’re so dominant every year
@rizcriz I always saw it as Chris walks Eddie down the aisle, Bobby officiates, Jee flower girl and neither of them has a best man/person. It’s a small ceremony in a back yard like Maddie and Chim were originally planning, only the 118 and their families are invited
