#EDUC300 I believe this classroom would be a good representation of a progressivism classroom because of the focus of child involvement and focus of group work. It allows a student to feel comfortable in their learning environment, hopefully encouraging psychological safety.

@RachelK57165692 I think it is interesting to see how education has changed over time and how it can be pinpointed to specific points in history. As future educators it is important for us to be informed on this history and how it impacts our current ways of teaching.

@hannahvmontero I think this graphic is a great way to show just how much impact economic barriers can have on a students life, including their education. As teachers, I believe that we have an important role in understanding these challenges so that we can be more educated to help our students.

I think this video/ article is a great representation of not only psychological safety, but dependability within the classroom. It shows the dedication the teacher puts forward to make each child feel cared for and special, allowing them to feel safe and respected in the class.
