@Taylor_jtr I love this! I like she is providing a way to put her students out there and to get them interested in reading. It’s a simple yet effective way to stay connected. #08Sp2020#educ300
@SanaAhm55413138 I love this! A lot of my professors having been doing rn and I think this approach is gonna be very applicable to the future and I can see myself sharing resources like this to my future students. It encourages students to learn/read, especially since it’s free #educ300#08Sp2020
This teacher posted ideas of what teachers, students, and parents can do in this time of staying home w/ chalk! From fun activities and reaching out to others reminds me of the google norm dependability because she’s teaching the community to support eachother #08Sp2020#educ300
This is an interesting take of a classroom and I think it’s progressivism! A teacher led activity outdoors, learning about plants and wildlife. The students are also able to do their own thing and write observations on their own. #EDUC300#08Sp2020
@JesseCa92229430 I think talking about what we learn with our classmates is always the best way to learn. It was also interesting to hear different peoples opinion and have an open mind. #EDUC300#08Sp2020
@RamanKa82638417 I really liked this class activity we did. It was a cool modern twist on older topics that made it more interesting. It helped me to learn about other philosophies of education and how specific individuals had an impact and why.
It’s crazy how different philosophies and ways of education, line up with different moments in history! While there have been many changes it’s also interesting to see similarities like core subjects, layouts of classrooms, and emphasis on certain subjects. #EDUC300#08Sp2020
@raiford_grace I really loved the graphic you used! I loved how it was simple yet literal it was. I personally thought flexibility was one of the most important google norms. Sometimes adults and adolescents never learn that skill and it can hurt them in a group environment. #08Sp2020#EDUC300
@hannahvmontero I really liked how we made this chart in class. It’s just such a simple yet effective way to see how the economics, laws, and poverty affects students and our schools. It really connected all the dots and shows how everything crossover. #08Sp2020#EDUC300
@JesseCa92229430 I also this this article demonstrated “impact.” These girls bring out the best in each other and I think it’s because of the connection and impact they have between each other. Their lyrics of their music are relatable and helps the audience to connect with them as well.
@hannahvmontero I also thought this article demonstrated the google norm “dependability.” To have such a successful company w/out a boss really just shows how much these employees have to work together and rely on each other to get their work done!
The google norm “psychological safety” is really demonstrated in this article showing how one individual, Ellen, is changing lives of female inmates. While she brings education to these ladies, she also provides a safe space and allows these them to come together #EDUC300#Sp2020
