โ the all-in-one digital platform for BC & Alberta strata councils, managers & owners
Every strata council has a 90-minute moment when nobody can find the answer.
If you've ever served, you know exactly the moment I mean.
Started writing about why that's stopped being a joke. First piece in a new series โ would love your thoughts.
@elonmusk The Musk companies are the most efficiently run businesses in history. This will be the first time Elon won't have to risk an entire company when taking things to the next level. Hold on tight as the next few years are expected to be mind blowing.
After decades of false starts, humanoid robotics has hit an inflection point. Scott Walter @GoingBallistic5 - a 40-year robotics veteran - just retired from engineering to lead investment research at RoboStrategy, a publicly listed fund built to find the winners. Here's why he believes this time is different.
Scott spent 40 years as a classical roboticist - from Deneb in 1985 to Visual Components (acquired by KUKA). He's seen every AI winter and every false dawn. So when he leaves the lab to become 'Robotics Research Diligence Director' (yes, R2-D2), it's worth paying attention.
His thesis: the 2020s robotics boom isn't because people are trying harder. It's because the technology finally converged. Mature deep learning (post-AlexNet), small IMUs, fast control loops, better actuators. The pyramid took 40 years to build. We just reached the top.
Boston Dynamics and Asimo were dismissed as 'cute science projects' for a reason: the intelligence layer wasn't there yet. Now it is. Figure is only 4 years old and is already running humanoids for 10 hour shifts straight.
Skeptics call recent demos 'fake tasks.' But these are real jobs people do every day. Fulfillment centers automate easily because the package serves the system. The real world is messier - and that's exactly the Moravec paradox problem humanoids are finally cracking.
The catch: most of the investment action is private. Figure, Apptronik, Standard Bots - retail investors can't touch them. RoboStrategy solves this with a Nasdaq listing (not IPO) and 400+ LPs, giving access to pre-IPO robotics through a regulated, diligence-driven vehicle.
Scott has lived through the winters. But this time, he says, feels different - not 'here we go again' but 'here we goโ.

Good night and sleep tight to our smallest Nursery girls, Zuri and Kipekee. Keeper Julius arrived for lights out, but found the pair already asleep.
Little Zuri was only rescued last month. Kipekee wasn't too thrilled to share the spotlight but she's adjusting. In fact we felt so encouraged by their budding friendship we moved Kipekee's stable next door, so they can be night-time neighbours.
Zuri fell into a septic tank before her rescue and is our newest rescue. She's five months old and still vulnerable, but she's in much better condition than most that arrive in our care (so can fall asleep happily without a blanket).

@MattxH@DanielGoldersUK@mehdirhasan@piersmorgan@hasanthehun Sounds like you have conflated the GM ignition scandal with Tesla's FSD. Because of their dash cam, there are countless videos of Tesla saving lives. Here's one of the latest..
Probably true. Everyone I've spoken to who opposes the war understands these people's motivations only on a superficial level. Islam is a dangerous set of ideas that the Islamic Republic follows meticulously. Beliefs taught from a young age are deeply embedded in these people. Negotiations will never change that. People would benefit from reading a little Christopher Hitchens.
โPotentially fatal consequencesโ: Donโt be a moron and leave your dog in a hot car
In 2025, there were over 600 calls to the BC SPCA Animal Helpline about animals in hot cars.

Yeah thats gotta be it. Total con job. Cars that save lives and deliver the best driving experience out there. Internet dropping education into places that had none. Boring tunnels and FSD rewriting how people and goods move. Semi cutting the cost of everything we buy. Neuralink giving paralyzed people abilities they never dreamed possible.
Millions conned into buying and using things the Musk companies developed. What a sophisticated scam.
Pincushion Mountain hike tough, but the views are killer
Did you know you can get a certificate of completion from the District of Peachland if you reach the summit?
